Patricia Lynn “Patty” Lloyd-Davis, age 62, of Clare, passed away peacefully under hospice care in Rosebush. Patty was born on March 3, 1963, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, the daughter of Jerry Lloyd and Kathleen (Doherty) Lloyd. After the death of her biological father, Patty was raised by her mother, Kathleen, and William “Bill” McNerney, whom she called Dad and who raised her as his own. Patty graduated from Clare High School with the Class of 1981 and went on to study at Eastern Michigan University. After her education, Patty worked in financial accounting at the former Midland Hospital (now MyMichigan Health). In 1988, she joined her brother Todd Lloyd, her mother Kathleen, and Bill McNerney in founding Action Bolt Company in Midland, where she became known to many as “Action Patty.” Later, she was employed as a legal secretary with Jay Truck & Associates. Patty valued her family and the relationships she built over the years. In earlier chapters of her life, she enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and being part of family gatherings and shared traditions. In more recent years, her life became quieter, but she remained deeply connected to those closest to her in her own way. She is survived by her husband, Bryan Davis; her children, Bryan Austin (Cassidy Ogg) Davis of Clare, Lauren (Paul) Weissend of Clare, and Tyler (Darby) Davis of Gladwin; and her grandchildren, Sylvia, Collin, Theodore, Bo, Cooper, and Chloe. She is also survived by her sister, Rachel (Justin) Gomillion, and their children Carter, Maggie, Hugh, and Adia, of Florida; and her father, William “Bill” McNerney, of Clare. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Kathleen Lloyd; her brother, Todd Lloyd; and her parents-in-law, Frank and Micky Davis. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Patty’s life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home.
