Jeanette L. Haring

Jeanette L. Haring passed away Wednesday October 3, 2018 peacefully at the home of her daughter surrounded by her family and best friends. On August 22, 1946 Jeanette Lou Barnes was born to her Father, Bertis Edward Barnes, and her mother, Viola Fanny (Unger) Barnes. Two years later she got a baby brother, Gerald Lee Barnes. On February 24, 1968 she married the love of her life James Lynn Haring, they enjoyed over 50 years of married life together. Together they had 2 children, Tina Marie (Haring) Ridenour and Shay Ann (Haring) Tanner. These 2 children were her whole world. She became a devoted mother, who raised two of the best girls you'll ever meet. Jeanette was loved and respected by everyone who ever met her. She loved her bowling days with her sister and with her husband. She was an active member of the Clare Moose Lodge volunteering to cook meals and help out other families. She was kind, considerate, thoughtful, and loving. She was honest, dependable, and always had a kind word or good thought about others. Jeanette showed the same devotion to her beloved grandchildren: Kyle and Mia Ridenour, Thaddeus and Kevin Tanner. She loved these kids from day one, literally being present for the birth of them. From that day on she would show them love and attention every chance she had. She cherished their young years, baby sitting them whenever she was asked. She said that “the day would come when they wouldn't want to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa, and that was okay.” That day never came! The love she showed them created an unbreakable bond to this day. She was always present at events in her grand kids lives whether that was football, baseball, basketball games, baptisms, or even tea time with Mia. She loved it all. She was preceded in death by her mother Viola, father Bertis, niece Brenda Lee (Barnes) Gray and several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews from the Haring family. She is survived by her husband Jim, her children, her grandchildren, her brother Jerry and his wife Evie and her niece Shari. She will be missed more than words could ever say! A funeral service in honor of Jeanette will take place on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Farwell Chapel of the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Dan Ridenour officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Memorial contributions in honor of Jeanette may be directed to the Clare Moose Lodge.
