Wade Harlan Bacon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Wade Harlan Bacon passed suddenly on October 20th, 2021 at the Midland Hospital with his loving family by his side. Wade was born April 9th, 1982 in Cass City, MI. He had a passion for cooking, basketball, and music. Wade loved to work with his hands, always building something or working on a new project. If he could dream it, he could build it. If it was broken, he could fix it. Wade was known for his easy going personality, dry sense of humor, wry half smile, and expressive brown eyes. He was a loving and devoted father, brother, son, and friend. He was always willing to lend a hand and could make anyone laugh. Wade valued his integrity, his work ethic, and above all else, his family. Wade leaves behind two children, Alexandria (Allie) Marie Bacon 19 and Dakota Harlan Bacon 21 of Farwell, his Mom Rebecca Grant (Bacon) and Dad Steven Grant, brother Cody Grant of Harrison, sister Wrae Bacon of Midland, and biological father Kurt Fritcher of Grayling, MI as well as many loving cousins, uncles, an aunt, and countless friends. He is preceded in death by both his maternal grandmother Sharon Bacon and grandfather Eugene Bacon. Wade was a beautiful soul taken far too soon and he will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be held Friday November 5th at the Gilmore Church of Christ in Farwell, MI. Visitation will be at 3pm, services beginning at 3:30pm, followed by a dinner and lantern/balloon release at 5:30pm.
