Marilyn D. Doyle, age 72 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the MidMichigan Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant. Marilyn was born the daughter of Dayton D. and Margaret M. (Wright) LaVoye on June 3, 1947 in Clare. She was united in marriage to James Doyle in 1995. Marilyn had spent her life living in the Mid Michigan Area. She had worked for the Buyers Guide in Mt. Pleasant as well as Miller Egg Farm in Loomis. She and James had met at a dance and together they enjoyed dancing throughout their marriage. Marilyn liked to read and spend time with her dog Angel who recently passed away. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband James; step children James, Vada and Thomas; her sister Twyla Arquette and two step grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Patrick Murphy; parents Dayton and Margaret and her father and mother-in-law Thomas and Beatrice Doyle. Cremation has taken place with burial to be held in the Cherry Grove Cemetery in Clare. Arrangements were handled by the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home.
