Marian Pearl (Cuddie) House, age 93 of Clare, met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ face to face on February 25, 2018. Marian was born the daughter of the late Warren and Mary J. (Gray) Cuddie on December 11, 1924 in Gladwin near Skeels. She was united in marriage to Arnold L. House on Easter Sunday, April 1, 1945 with Arnold predeceasing her on May 23, 2011. She and Arnold met at the Apple Blossom Camp (Good News) north of Gladwin; they had a dairy farm south of Clare. Marian was an active and faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Clare. Survivors include her 7 children; Rosemary (Dick) Abel, John (Janet) House, Carole (Bob) Beery, Eric (Cheryl) House, Gene (Laura) House, Teresa (Joel) Hunsberger and Corinne (John) Howdyshell; 30 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren with 2 on the way and 1 great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by 4 siblings, Leola Block, Elden, Ellis and Ward Cuddie. “We don’t cry for you, we cry for us”. Visitation and services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Clare. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2 from 4 to 8 P.M. and Saturday, March 3 from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M. Services will be officiated by Pastor Douglas Blackwell with a luncheon to immediately follow the services at the Church. Committal services and burial will take place at 2:30 P.M. at the Vernon Twp.
