Kay (Marrs) Beatty- Cancilla

February 22, 1939 - December 16, 2021

Some people only walk this earth for a short time and their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. Kay Jeanette (Marrs) Beatty-Cancilla joined her heavenly family and gained her angel wings on December 16, 2021. Kay was born February 22, 1939, in Saginaw, MI the daughter of Robert and Ruth Marrs. She was the proud mother of 8 children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Despite her large family, she made time for everyone and provided support and love to her family. Kay retired from Central Michigan Community Hospital where she worked for over 30 years as an LPN in labor and delivery. Kay is survived by her children, Kenneth and Pam Beatty, of Yale, MI; Robert and Lora Beatty of Edmore, MI; Beverly and Ray Terpening of Harrison, MI; Kathy and Danny Keeler of Riverdale, MI; John Beatty of Mt Pleasant, MI; Charles Beatty of Coleman, MI; and Joy and Howard Adkins of Coleman, MI. She is also survived by her siblings, Joy and Bob Bass of Florida, Robert and Lonna Marrs of Indiana, and Chuck and Paula Marrs of Michigan, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kay is preceded in death by her son Thomas Beatty, grandson, Zachary Salminen, and granddaughter, Jamie Beatty and her parents, Robert Marrs and Ruth Marrs. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am on January 7, 2022 at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. Graveside services to follow at Vernon Twp. Cemetery and a luncheon at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Cecilia Site in Clare, MI.
