Jerry Tyler Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jerry Daniel Tyler, age 66, of Harrison, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 25. He was born the son of James Floyd and Wilma Dee (Holmes) Tyler on August 16, 1953 in Flint, MI. Jerry had worked for GM in the Fisher Body Plant in Grand Blanc. In recent years Jerry had been a transporter for the Gladwin/Clare Amish Community which he thoroughly enjoyed. He had lived many years in the Beaverton area also. Jerry married the former Annette Hazel in November of 2002, in Munising, MI and she survives him. In his glory days he had enjoyed playing Softball, and Basketball and was always up for a good arm wrestle. He started Buddy B Little League organization in the Mt Morris area and loved coaching. Anyone that knew Jerry knew he loved to eat and he could tell you were to go for the best burger! His faith in God surpassed any struggles he faced here on earth and he is resting at peace with his savior. Survivors include: his wife, Annette, his son, Jason and wife Pam, stepsons, Andrew and wife Sarah, Adam, and Alex Howard, his grandchildren, Jordan, KayLee, Dani, Reagan, Bentley, Liam, and Oliver, and has a great-grandchild on the way. Also surviving is his sister, Pamela Belton, a niece, Holly, nephews, Jamie and Don, and several great-nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned at this time.
