Terry Anne (Robison) Huntoon

Terry Anne Huntoon, age 75 of Clare, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 23, 2021 with her family by her side. On August 11, 1946, Terry was born the daughter of Mervil and Mary Louise (Doherty) Robison in Midland, MI. Terry was a lifelong resident of Clare and a proud member of the Clare High School Class of 1964. Shortly after her graduation, Terry was united in marriage to Kenneth D. Huntoon, Sr. on July 23, 1965 and together they shared eighteen wonderful years of marriage and four children until the time of Ken’s sudden passing in December of 1983. During her working years, Terry proudly served years as part of the quality control team for Coleman’s Packaging Resources, Inc., which is now known as Huhtamaki. Terry had a voracious appetite for reading books of all genres and she loved tending to her flower gardens. She provided kindness and compassion to everyone she came into contact with. She always cherished her yearly trip to Florida with her sisters and she enjoyed cooking her special dishes like her famous baked beans and scalloped corn for family gatherings, but those that knew Terry best, knew that her grandchildren were the true light of her life. Terry is survived by her children Deanna (Rob) Brown, Ken (Kerry Splitter) Huntoon, Jr., Kelly (Jody) Walworth, and Dawn Wiley, all of whom reside in Clare, and her grandchildren Casey, Jordy (Cat), Johny (Kyndelin), Alyssa, Ryan, Brenden, Derek, Kirsten, and Shane. Other survivors include her great-grandchildren Keegan, Brayden, and Lyla, her sisters Jean (Bob) Bailey, Lynn (Lynden) Arnold, Sandy Wilson, Dusty Robison, Marcia (Dewey) Dickinson, and her brother Bud Robison. Terry is preceded in death by her husband Ken Huntoon, Sr., her parents Mervil and Mary Louise Doherty her sister Robin Adams, her Aunt and sister in-law Geraldine Huntoon, her brother Mike Robison, and her son-in-law James Sersaw. A funeral service in honor of Terry will take place on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Clare Chapel of the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home at 12:00 P.M. with Mr. Steve Zuker, her nephew officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Cecilia Catholic Cemetery of Clare. Friends may visit with the Huntoon family at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 A.M. to the time of service at noon.
