Christa May Bollinger

Christa May Bollinger, age 56 of Farwell, passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Friday, May 15, 2026. Christa was born the daughter of James Bollinger and Connie (Foster) Musil on December 23, 1969 in Alma. Christa was a daughter, sister, mother and friend to many. She was a fun loving, free spirit that lived in the moment. She had a big bubbly personality and made friends with everyone. She loved music-especially her favorite band Aerosmith. She loved to take pictures and share them with everyone, especially her daughters. She was also the best holiday and birthday card writer. Christa had a strong work ethic and always said “Do it right the first time, so you don’t have to go back and do it again.” She was the fun aunt that all her nieces and nephews loved. Christa tried so hard to be the best version of herself; she was strong in so many ways. She had a kind, caring and giving soul. Christa had the biggest heart and loved her dogs Izzy and Hutch and her chickens very much. Christa especially loved her daughters, her family and her significant other Rick with her whole heart. This past summer She loved working for the YFC youth camp. Christa loved rock hunting, mushrooming, camping, fishing, and she was always up for an adventure. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents James Bollinger and Connie Musil; step father Jerry Musil, her brother Randy Bollinger and a nephew Tyler Couturier. Christa leaves behind and will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Jessica (Cody) Gibson and Jordan Prince; life companion Rick Onstott; Stepmother Mary Bollinger, siblings Todd (Margo) Bollinger and Tracy (Dave) Couturier; nieces Sarah and Samantha; nephews Steven, Patrick, john, Dillion, Aaron and Casey; and her grand children Braxton and Baylor, along with several great nieces and nephews. Visitation and services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Farwell Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of Service at 1 P.M. with Pastor Jim Young officiating. Burial will be held privately in the Richland Cemetery in Vestaburg. Memorials are suggested to help with final expenses.
